Digitalisation of Custodian Votes

In 2024, we were pleased to announce that we introduced the receipt of votes electronically from custodians who subscribe to Proxymity. This digitalisation of votes will provide earlier visibility of custodial voting and remove manual processing, as historically votes were received via fax, typically just before proxy close.

Benefits to Issuers:

• Real-time access to custodian votes lodged earlier than previously received via fax - available through our miraqle platform.
• Removal of manual proxy processing lodged by alternative methods such as fax.
• Proxymity’s technology allows investors to vote up to the market deadline which allows votes to be updated or amended.

Proxymity was implemented in October and since the launch we have seen over a 150 Issuers connected with a reduction of faxes and more timely votes being submitted. All meetings going forward will be connected and our clients are excited by the adoption of this technology.
